As your councillor, I will work with the new Unitary Authority
to bring back to Wells the functions and assets that Wells
needs to be a growing, thriving and healthy community. When
power comes back to the local community, I will make sure
that we have the resources that we need for the services that
will benefit all of us locally. For example, I will do my best to
bring the management of car parks back to Wells so that we
can decide if occasional free parking will help the shops and
businesses in Wells.
I will listen to what you tell me about the things that are
important to you, so that together we can find locally-led,
effective policies that will make a real difference. Moreover, I
will improve access to mental and physical health services for
all ages, keep our parks, open spaces and surrounding
countryside as welcoming spaces for all.

I will support extending cycle ways, improving bus
services, and protecting green spaces and allotments.
REVITALISE THE HIGH STREET
I will introduce free car parking to bring more trade,
and improve the appearance of the High Street.
